NEVER TRUST SKY9 Apartments City Center
Sky9 changed the apartment we had booked through Hotels.com and sent us 2 km away from where we wanted to stay. It was awful to arrive at 9 pm to the expected place and find that you cannot stay there, call the host, who is no helpful on the phone, and receive a poor alternative but the only one. In the assigned apartment we found bugs and old broken towels, ambient hot and smelly. They never communicated with us after our claim and seem not to care. We'll never book with them again because we want certainty of where we will stay once we book a place.

Excellent - best location and great room. Cold AC.
Excellent - best location you could possibly ask for. Right on top of a metro stop and right near St. Stephen's church. Room is really a small apartment (full kitchen) and we loved it. Shower had great hot water, AC was cold, and loved using it as a point of rest in between sightseeing.

The place was in a great location and the owners have really maximized the space with the layout. There weren’t any towels in the kitchen and only 1/4 of a single toilet paper roll was on hand when we arrived. For the bathrooms there were enough towels overall but only one large towel (not convenient for three people). Communication follow-through could have been better when a problem arose with the key.

Elevator smelled like trash. The heating system wasn't functioning properly as I trembled in the cold at night. Bed wasn't made (No top bed sheet) when I arrived (Can see hair and other debris on bed) Pillow cases were also dirty. Paint from ceiling kept falling near the kitchen area. Chairs near kitchen area looks grossly dirty. Heating towel rack in bathroom won't heat up. Mop was left inside washing machine. 2-star accommodation in 5-star location.

The location on Hotels.com and Google maps has them placed in the Vienna City Centre (Inner Stadt) where in reality we were given an apartment 2km outside the city centre. This is very deceiving of course for those who are looking to stay centrally and close to everything.

Many thanks for taking your time to write your review.I'm very surprised to read that the apartment was not as advertisted. We operate apartments at different locations in city center – close to the cathedral or close to the Opera. This information is also stated out multiple times on the Expedia website. Unfortunately the setting of multiple pins is technically not possible on Expedia. The apartments address is contained in each category title. I’m very sorry if you haven't seen this. Additionally our software sends out immediately after receiving the booking, a confirmation email with all the details to your assigned apartment. I can assure you that you have received exactly the apartment that you've booked. And both our city center locations are superb. Also, I kindly want to point out that we don't operate locations 2km outside the city center, since this is very misleading for other guests.Once again I'm very sorry for the inconvenience caused. The location of the Apartment is very good. There is only one double bed and one sofa bed. The bath room was not very clean. All in all a nice stay but condition of the apartment should be improved.

Nice apartment, great location!
Unfortunately, there was an issue and we did not get to stay in the room we booked. This put a slight damper in the beginning of our stay because we were one bed short and made the stay a little uncomfortable. They explained the situation and compensated us for the inconvenience. The check in email with instructions didn’t make it to my inbox (not their fault) so I wasn’t aware that our apartment was not in the beautiful yellow building in the photos and we arrived at the incorrect location. However, the apartment we were provided was well maintained and had a great location! Across the street, you have a bus stop, within a few minutes walk was a grocery store and train station. You are only one stop away from Stephenplatz! We often walked/rode the train. They provide a binder with useful information. My only suggestion is to include instructions on how to use the washing machine and stove top as I needed to Google that info. It is a micro machine so you can only wash a few items at a time otherwise it shakes really bad during the spin cycle. Had to purchase detergent/softener but left it there for the next person. The Nespresso machine was nice and easy to use. Two small closets with a good amount of storage space/hangers. It does have a courtyard view but really what you see is a wall.

Terrible from the onset.
The management was callous at best. First they changed my original reservation and gave me another apartment. On reaching the apartment, the door could not be unlocked so had to wait until someone arrived and unlocked it. I was told the apartment has a double bed when in fact it was two twin beds joined together. Instead of one double/queen comforter, it was two separate twin comforters. The bathroom heat was not working and the sink was clogged. I send them an email and instead of recognizing their mistake, I got an email from hotels.com that property manager will charge extra since we have an extra kid, essentially trying to fleece the deposit. The heat is turned off at night so if you wake up in the middle of the night, it is difficult to go back to sleep. The location was excellent but the management was terrible and the apartment was pretty old with cheap furnishings. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing service. The heating didn’t work the first night but we fixed it over the phone and were so helpful. They even let us keep the bags in the room later than check out free of charge. 10/10 would recommend, couldn’t ask for a better location.

Broken A/C + aggravation
Stayed for a 50th birthday celebration weekend. Chose the apartment over other accommodations because of the location and the fact that it was advertised as having air conditioning. Top floor apartment and 27 degrees meant a sweltering room. There was an A/C unit in the room, but we discovered it was not functioning. Spent a large part of the weekend in contact with the property manager trying to remedy the situation. Was informed there was a fan we could use, but it was missing from the room. Then was told someone would come the next morning to fix the unit and we would be compensated. They came mid-afternoon and claimed it was working fine and brought a fan. Ten minutes after they left, the unit behaved the same way we had explained...works for a few minutes and then an alarm sounds and an error code appears. When we checked out I received a message that they hoped I enjoyed my stay since they fixed the air conditioner. And I explained, that it was NOT fixed and explained the whole interaction again. The compensation they offered was not acceptable considering the aggravation and time spent on the matter, especially in light of the fact that we were celebrating an occasion and din't need to spend time on this. Oh and I was told that they have now bought a new unit which works fine. Well, that's great for the next guest, but didn't help us. And they offered a voucher as compensation which I find obnoxious. As if we'd be eager to go through this again. Overall, it's not about

First I sincerely apologize once again that you had problems with the air condition. It worked well with all previous guests. Once we have noticed the dysfunction we immediately ordered a new one. Since your stay was on the weekend I'm very sorry we couldn't deliver the new air condition within your stay but brought you a fan instead. Since the A/C worked when my colleague was on site, we assumed that the device was working properly again. Unfortunately, you didn't pass on the information to us, that the device stopped working again after my colleague left and the issue still influenced your stay. We would have been very happy to help you again .. To compensate all inconveniences we have offered you a discount so your rate for 2 adults would have been as low as 60EUR per night for Vienna's best central location. Because this wasn't enough for you - and for all costs we wanted to turn you into a happy and loyal guest - we have doubled our discount but in form of a voucher. This apartment is within the city center, very spacious, and clean. Checking in was very easy. However, I wished they had the basic amenities such as soap, shampoo and lotion. Otherwise, everything is good!

The location of the apartment was just perfect! Very close to a major train station(Karlsplatz) /sightseeing bus stop (front of The Vienna State Opera)/ center of Vienna. The apartment was very clean and security system was superior.

The place was clean and the beds comfortable. Very good location. However the building's elevator was broken during out stay, requiring us to climb 6 flights of stairs with our luggage. The shower was leaking badly across the floor. There was no notification or communication about either issue prior to or after our stay.

Good Location
We went to a wrong location as the booking in hotel.com and the confirmation email from the stay was different. But the new location waa also very easy accessible and near train station. There are some hipcups such as housekeeping didnt give us bath towels but the management of the stay solved our problem the next day. Overall was a good stay and nothing to complain about.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, and the space was great for our group of four. We really appreciated the nice furnishing and how clean it was. The staff was helpful and let us check in a hair early because we were in the area.

Great location. Building in good shape. Easy access. Adequate amount of room...just enough. Handle to freezer broken. Lighting was too bright with no opportunity to dim the lights, and no table lamps, especially in the bedroom.

Great apartment, really nicely furnished and with easy access to transport. Communication was clear and the check in process worked seamlessly. I would happily recommend this property. The apartment has a washing machine which was very useful also.

Nice location and beautiful apartment
The place is in an amazing central location. The flat was clean. The only issue was the check-in - the instructions said to press 'Top 2' which made no sense (you will know when you get there) and you had to call them to figure out what that is. Also wish they would leave 4 coffee pods if they know 4 people are staying.

This would have been a 4-star review, since the property was mostly good (location, bed, size, check-in instructions), however the property sent me an email after check out with a petty attempt at a bribe for a good review. From their email: "Our promotion 08.2019: This month we’ll automatically refund 5 Euros back to your credit card and donate another 5 Euros to doctors without borders when receiving a review that is above our current review score. Hopefully you will be part of it" This is unacceptable business practice.

The best thing about this property was it’s location. It is an easy walk to the city centre and St Stephens Cathedral. Also it is close to the Karlsplatz train station and the amazing Naschmarkt. There is no signage to indicate where the property is located. Also we had some issues gaining access because unbeknown to us we had not supplied a security deposit.

Central and convenient
We did not find out the exact location till the week before. But we were given clear directions then. It was very close to KarlsPlatz so very easy to get to the centre and all the museums and tours. There was a supermarket very nearby to get supplies to cook. The famous night market was very close and well worth visiting. The apartment was spacious and secure. Although on a busy street it was quiet on the 5th floor. The only nuisance was the hot water would become freezing during a shower. Not the best in winter. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner in the corners. The rest of the apartment was very clean. The bedlinen and towels were first class. The couch was comfortable and there was a full size table and chairs for meals.
