Excellent location

The Palazzo Monga is a truly unique and beautiful boutique hotel. Restored to a very high level, it was undoubtedly one of the most impressive hotels I’ve stayed in. The location in the centre of Verona was perfect for seeing everything easily. The concierge Arthur was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was the owner Julia. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough!

Great location! In the heart of the old town, felt very safe. Breakfast was excellent, prefect for a day of exploring, Staff were very friendly, and brilliant at breakfast too! Room was very clean. Highly recommend and should be a 4 star hotel! Very impressive and would recommend to anyone!

I surprised my boyfriend with this hotel for his 30th. The images looked amazing on the website, and when we arrived we were totally over the moon. The hotel was something else, 5* service, Michelin restauraunt, beautiful decor, very scenic and peaceful location, it was a true romantic getaway, tucked away in the vineyards. Quirky hotel in a great location between the Arena and Juliet’s balcony. My single room was spacious with everything I needed. The bed was definitely bigger than a single! The welcome drink was a nice touch on arrival. Breakfast was a buffet with a good variety of hot and cold food. The hotel was very busy though!

This is our second visit to Opera Relais de Charme and it's been another full ratings visit. The appartment is so close to the main points of interest. Also in a restriced area for most car traffic. We used the train to visit Lake Garda and with an all day ticket travelled via hyrofoil to explore many towns. Take to the mountains via cable car. Look down from 1,790 metres to the lake. This hotel is not far from most of the major sights of Verona. The Roman Ponte Pietra is outside the front door, the Duomo is round the corner on the left, St Anastasia on the right. A short stroll takes you to the Teatro Romano and the superb treasures of St Maria in Organo. Just a touch further you're in Piazza del Erbe. Nothing is too far away, including good restaurants. The apartment is very modern ( in an older building with a a lift) and has a range of facilities including a small kitchenette with a microwave and coffee machine. All the staff were very helpful and the location is perfect just steps away from the Arena (for opera, concerts etc ) and Piazza Bra where you can find a wide range of restaurants and great shops. Having said that the street the apartments are in feels very safe and quiet so no disturbance from noise.

Such a cute property, with amazing views and interior. Feels like home The staff is amazing, I was given very early check in. Unfortunately there was an issue with my Air con which they tried to fix but couldn’t. They offered free breakfast and drink. The hotel also covers two taxi charges to city centre throughout your stay which is a nice perk. Honestly not sure about the walk to city centre as the hotel is on a very steep hill with no sidewalks

It is perfectly place near the arena, The staff was super helpful in organizing all the details to make it a perfect stay. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful old property on the edge of the Citta Antico.

Different people will require different things from their hotel; research is key. I read up that this hotel was within the courtyard of the 'Balcony of Juliet' and that it would be busy downstairs, and that there was no dining room so breakfast would be served in room. Google maps showed that it is fairly central in the old part of the city. The entrance hall is deceiving as to what awaits; rooms look out either over the street towards the Piazza delle Erbe (as mine did), or over the Juliet...

Escalus is located in the centre of Verona, just a few steps from the Arena, which always seems to have something happening. The lack of in-house restaurant, bar or lounge space was no draw-back at all for us. Breakfast in-room service was excellent and always delivered on time.
