"Good mid-Priced stay; the two-room suite is excellent, with a small refrigerator and microwave. Perfect for families. Very nice staff. Location is doable, not super close to the action on State Street and Pier, but only a 9-12 minute drive. Parking was easy to find 10 garages or lots off of State. Breakfast is ok- continental- coffee is good and strong. Basics: cereal, oatmeal, store-bought bagels, croissants (must toast both), fruit; they need to upgrade or carry a better variety of both Regular (Dannon) and Greek yogurt (Chobani). Overall fine, but it would be ideal if they had more variety, i.e., peanut butter for toast. Pool is fine but just off parking lot. This is a lodge, not a hotel, but it worked perfectly for our family as we just wanted beds to crash in at night. And it was clean, quiet, and a good place to rest between our beach, resort pass, bicycle, Mission Visits, and Solvang/Channel Islands day-trip excursions."

"Rooms were clean and decent. The facility was a little run down. There was no elevator so if you were on the top or bottom levels you have to carry it all through the building. Breakfast was average but there was only 1 waffle maker so the line was always long. Overall good price for what you’re getting. It’s only about a 5 minute walk to the beach which was nice."

"I love the proximity to the beach, the pier and downtown Ventura with the shops. Nice morning walks with coffee and vintage store in the morning and late night restaurants and bars for the evening."

"We had a wonderful stay for our mini-honeymoon! The room is very comfortable with a great location near many restaurants, coffee shops, and places to drink wine. The staff were all friendly and very, very helpful! There is a mild amount of noise being near State street but nothing that diminishes the stay at all. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Santa Barbara."
