Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, fresh and very colourful. Bed was very comfortable. Bar had plenty of choice. Enjoyed my breakfast.

An exquisite hotel. 2 minor niggles, car parking erratic, in the woods, no tea coffee facilities in the rooms. Food 5 star quality, just would have liked to have been offered a menu instead of being told what has been set ( not good for non French speakers with a food intolerance or dislike of foie grasse). Fortunately I speak French and eat most things.

Hotel is in a fantastic location with the river on one side and an interesting street on the other. Our initial booking for one night was unexpectedly extended to four and we can't fault the service we have received here. There is no bar or restaurant within the hotel but step outside and the choice is amazing within a few meters. The Hotel Vauban offers continental breakfast with a good selection. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the bathrooms extremely modern. We feel very fortunate to have...

We arrived very late and left very early. The room and bathroom were fine and so was the parking. We were pretty tired so we weren't being particularly discerning. The staff though, were simply outstanding for they helped us check in even though we arrived at nearly midnight on a public holiday!

This is a splendid stone mansion refurbished by the owner’s own hand to the highest standards. The combination of ancient building and modern facilities is a triumph and the work of the very friendly owner deserves to be appreciated.
