The location of the hotel is fantastic, a short walk through the park takes you to Hidropark Metro Station. From here you can travel a few stops to get to Independence Square. Alternatively, a walk across the bridge near the station will take you to the main island beach with all of the sporting facilities. The hotel staff were fantastic with a decent level of English spoken, the rooms are spacious with plenty of useful furniture. I would definitely stay here again!

Great shelter.

One thing you need to know for staying there is that paying by card can be done only when administrator is working. Together with a colleague we arrived late on Friday evening and were due to leave early on Saturday. No administrator during that time. However the reception/security person went extra way and arranged everything so that we could pay without inconveniences, and arranged an early breakfast. I loved the modern interior of the hotel, and the underfloor heating in the bathroom.

Great old style hotel. we had a massive room with a view over the main square and fabulous skyline and buildings . Great location .

The room was very comfortable with lovely little touches such as Molton Brown toiletries, bathrobe, slippers, free bottled water by the bed each day and a wake up call if asked for with a complimentary hot drink and it was scrupulously clean. The beds were so comfortable. It had free English news channels and you could pay a reasonable price of £2.70 to watch current DVD's. The staff were so friendly. Summit apart hotel is definitely one of the better places I have stayed at. Room 1 was spacious, cosy and in a perfect location. As well as having kitchenette including a large fridge and a washing machine the other facilities included a balcony and a two room bathroom with a large jacuzzi bath, separate shower and even a private sauna. Check in was quick and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

Business trip for 2 nights. Great value for money. Excellent facilitates. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi strong throughout hotel, free with no need for logon. Decent spa & gym. Very friendly staff. Breakfast on level 8 was very good with nice view from the restaurant. Great location for a stroll about town. Highly recommended.

The room was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was also great. A special mention to Iryna who helped us sort out some issues we had created with our booking and made us feel very welcome.

Me and my brother picked out this hotel when we decided to have a long weekend in Ukraine in order to take in the sights of Kiev and to explore the Chernobyl Exclusion zone. The hotel was Warm, comfortable and featured one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in in a hotel. Above all though, within a culture that that is very different compared to that of Britain, the hotel provided me a little slice of home each night with it's English menus/signage and fluent English speaking staff,...

A very nice, accomodating hotel in the middle of Podil. Not an easy time to be in Kyiv but they were always helpful.

Staff arranged limo, upgraded our rooms, arranged Chernobyl tour perfectly. Had the most wonderful time in Kiev and will certainly return as so much to see. Hotel is the best we have ever stayed in, staff were second to none, room was amazing and food was perfect. I couldn't fault this hotel or Kiev itself in any way. Perfect. Thank you 11 Mirrors for making our stay one we will never forget and would certainly repeat.

The Fairmont was the last stay on our honeymoon and my birthday. We started in Budapest and cycled to Lviv and then took the train to Kyiv. We arrived at the hotel on Thursday looking hot and sweaty, not exactly their usual clientele, and we had a big favour to ask the hotel to store our bikes and bags until our reservation on Sunday night. I was expecting a scornful rebuff but the assistant reception manager Maksim welcomed me warmly and agreed to store our bikes. When we returned on Sunday...
