Bug problems on the top floor would be main concern. Roach/beetles come out of holes in the tiles in the bathrooms, mosquitos find their way in as well, maybe a once over with some sealant would be beneficial for future guests. Everything else was excellent, no complaints at all, good location

Its location is superb! 5 min walking distance to Clock Tower and Dodge Pallace. The surrounding are has many good local dining options, too. The room and linen was clean. The room was not spacy, but was acceptable for us, as a small family and for short stay. Spent most of our time outside.

Perfect stay!

Staff was absolutely wonderful! Great location to San Marcos and the boat buses. Just wished there was an elevator or a lift from the street floor to the lobby.

Lovely hotel in a great location

Lovely hotel, rooms were very clean and were warm despite cold temperatures outside. Most of the staff were very friendly. Nice terrace outside for the better weather. Location couldn't be better, everything you need nearby and only minutes from Piazza San Marco. Considering Venice is an expensive city to stay in, this hotel represents good value for money.

Excellent stay at Antigo

The hotel staff were very friendly, there’s a 24hr concierge which is wonderful, the facilities were great, the optional breakfast was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was high quality. We all commented on how well we slept. The location is great too, 5 minute walk from St. Marks square with some nice cafes, bars and restaurants nearby.

Cutest, sweetest, most delightful property. This was our third time there. Tiny room and bathroom but clean and with excellent air conditioner. Good WiFi, good enough cell reception. Staff were wonderful, helpful, and responsive. Breakfast very nice. Stairs to enter hotel, but have stair lift. Close to Piazza San Marco and the Vaporetto docks. Easy to walk everywhere as well.

Good location. Adequate. Small. Nice staff. NOT Ada compliant. Several stairs up to lobby. The hand rail electric “lift” was not operational. I had to climb the stairs backwards on my hands and bottom. Humiliating. An ATM would be nice. Couldn’t find one nearby.

Only one star. Booked the exclusive room #303. A strong sewer smell from bathroom filled entire room. The only remedy was to close the bathroom door and keep the bad smell there but then when entering the bathroom door we got nauseous every time. I put the wet towel over a shower drain and that helped little bit but overnight the smell seeped in anyway. The first front desk person said that that is normal in all Venice hotels but he sent a technician up there. The technician didn’t fix it. Anyway this kind of experience killed anything nice I could say about the hotel. Actually the blacony was nice because we had a nice view and we could escape the stench.

Das Hotel liegt sehr Central, es ist alles sehr schnell zu Fuß oder mit den Boot zu erreichen. Wir wurden bei allem sehr gut beraten, angefangen mit dem richten Lokal für den ersten Abend. Die Reception war immer besetzt.

Although this hotel has air conditioning, it can only be set to 19 degrees Celsius, and after asking, we were told it could not be adjusted. You are forced to choose between enduring the scorching summer heat or the freezing air conditioning, which is a very uncomfortable experience, especially since they only provide one very thin comforter (and even when we asked for an extra blanket, we were refused). Furthermore, if you leave the hotel during the day, you must return the key and pick it up again when you return, which makes no sense and is somehow inconvenient.

What a great little property! The room was quite roomy and very conveniently located near St Marks Square and the Vaparetto stop at San Zaccaria. Lots of shopping and dining options nearby. A great place for our four-night stay in Venice.
