"The breakfast menu was amazing. So much choice and so well prepared. I'm a coeliac and there were eggs, mushrooms, veg etc to choose from as well as a selection of drinks cheeses and other things. Amazing."

"Hotel Pinija in Petrčane is in a lovely seaside location and the grounds are pleasant, but overall our stay was disappointing and not worth the price we paid. One of the biggest issues was the food. The hotel website advertises several restaurants on site, including an Asian restaurant, which was one of the reasons we booked. However, during our stay they were all closed and the only option available was the buffet restaurant. Breakfast was acceptable, but the lunch buffet was extremely poor with very limited choice and repetitive, unappealing food. Some of the evening meals were disappointing as well. One night there was so little that looked appealing that I ended up eating chicken nuggets and chips from the kids’ menu. Another issue was the outdoor pool. We had specifically been told before arriving that it was heated, which was important as we were travelling outside the peak summer season. Unfortunately it clearly was not heated and was far too cold to use comfortably, which was very disappointing. When we tried to raise our concerns with staff we didn’t really get anywhere, which added to the frustration. Overall it wasn’t terrible, but it certainly didn’t live up to expectations and felt very poor value for money. For a hotel that markets itself as a higher-end resort, this was extremely underwhelming. "

"Great place. Clean, new. The owners Daniel and Marina make you feel at home. We were offered a drink and they made sure you know the details of the city. The restaurant food was unique. Every home made with good taste that you can savory the quality of the olive oil and the ingredients of the meal. The best food in our trip in Croatia "

"Best place to stay, good food, the kids area, swimming pool are killer"

"The hotel was 20 minutes from downtown Zadar. 20euro taxi. We did not know it was all inclusive, but we did have a nice dinner. Unfortunately the lobby juice, bee and coffee machines were locked when we tried to go. We walked a lot, around the waterfront and in what is solely a residential area. At the entrance of the property was a bus stop to downtown. The people at the desk were all very nice. Quick easy check in and out. A nice pool."

"Gorgeous resort, beach and awesome pool. They have everything for kids. We were in the comfort apartments. The first night we got dirty stained sheets with a long hair and smelled used. This was on a SOFA pull out bed mattress. Check your sheets before getting in bed. See pics on google maps. The half board buffet is the worst tasting food we have ever had. It's like they make it so bad you will pay at the 4 restaurants. It's like a mad cattle rush for the half board buffet. Kids will eat anything. A shame for such a cool place."

"Our first time Glamping and this did not disappoint. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. We had the 2 bedroom with pool. The pool is tiny and adorable. We were surprised how well stocked it was for such a small space. There were restaurants on the grounds that made it convenient but I cannot say the food was the best. The surrounding area felt a little desolate (at least for us) but if Glamping is your thing, this is a well run, very clean facility. "
