"The property was clean, safe, and a short distance from the train. You do need to climb a flight of stairs to reach the room and you are asked to pay a tourist tax, 2 euros/person/night (cash). The room is conveniently located to shopping and dining. The room is walkable distance to the cruise ships, approximately 2 miles. "

"Nice and spacious. Nice touches to have milk, juice and breakfast included. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed the various windows and views. Easy to walk to sights. There was a slight scent of cigarettes which we think came from a surrounding unit at night."

"The location and view were very nice. Walking to town or to the lake was very easy. There are many restaurants nearby and all were reasonably priced. Also, we liked the outdoor balcony. The owner checked on the property both days. He was very friendly. The shower was too small. No curtains in the window to shield all of the lights outside. There was only a sheer curtain which does not serve that purpose. Overall, it is a fair price for the property."

"Stayed April 21, 22 and left on 23rd, 2019. There is no dining room or common area (except the outside) to eat your breakfast or to lounge on a rainy day. The brunch display is in the hallway and you must go back to your room to eat. Customer service is less than desirable. The owner had told me by email to make my own taxi arrangements - which I did. "If you have had the experience of staying in Medieval town centers - which we love - you'll truly appreciate how your hosts understand how to maneuver the narrow city streets and how you can park right outside their B & B. The location next to a church helps, but they also help you understand the timing for finding a spot. "We found Sans Souci BB as a last second booking after a failed reservation in Civitavecchia. I was upset that my GPS was taking me 7km outside the city centre but was so pleasantly surprised and relieved when I arrived. The property is an impressive farmhouse style villa on a substantial plot of land complete with all of their own home grown vegetables and chickens producing farm-fresh eggs daily.
