"We first visited Playa Negra in 1999. We are so pleased to say that nothing has changed! We love the rustic feel of the Round thatched roof cabins and how close they are to the beach. The rooms while simple and rustic were maculate and the linens crispy and fresh. We heart Playa Negra hotel! Thanks for keeping Playa Negra the same."

"Don’t book this hotel. We booked 5 nights here and we got to the hotel only to find out we didn’t have a reservation because the hotel is taken over by new owners. The old owners have not taken down their old booking site. You will be without a place to stay if you book this hotel under Expedia. "
