"The views of the Lefkada bay and the near by islands are beautiful. The pool is beautiful and the beach across the street is very nice. But the best part of the place are the hosts Georgia and Vasilis. We are frequent travelers and have stayed in lots of beautiful places but never had hosts so nice and pleasant. Higly recommended and we hope to be back soon."
"I booked this hotel from my car, from my cell while at the beach. I kept going back to it but for some reason I kept loooimg at other spots. I’m SO glad a I pulled the trigger. The entire property was amazing. From the moment you walk down into the lobby from the parking area, you are hot with the most amazing view. Mountains. Sailboats. Beautiful clear water in every shade of blue you can imagine. "

"Have just had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are fantastic, a particular call outs for Athena on reception, who politely helped us with so many queries and always had a smile. Also Dimitri on the restaurant/bar, was so hardworking and pleasant. The staff are all very friendly and hard working. The food menu was limited, but adequate for a light lunch, the Lefkas lentil salad was amazing.
As a general comment some external parts of the hotel might need to be looked at as bits are tired and the pool water could be clearer. It was quiet for our week until the end when a larger party arrived and then there was a struggle to get a sun bed/umbrella. Also the beach isnt that accessible and is small, however there are so many amazing beaches youll be spoilt for choice (beach shoes are a must). Finally if you have mobility issues this might be a challenge as there are lots of steps.
The hotel is well located between Nikiana and Nidri, with lots of options to eat, shop and go on sightseeing trips. We hired a car and this was helpful as the bus is intermittent.

Sure some fittings could be refreshed, yes the gym has defunct equipment but the sheer beauty of this resort and the enthusiasm of the staff to help with every whim makes Ionian Blue the best stay we have had the pleasure of experiencing in the last two months of road tripping through Europe. If none of this has convinced you then lastly a dip in this clean area of Ionian Sea from the sun lounge platform or the huge immaculately clean pool after having the most superb grilled prawns and club sandwich. The food is sensational as is the service."
