"The views of the Lefkada bay and the near by islands are beautiful. The pool is beautiful and the beach across the street is very nice. But the best part of the place are the hosts Georgia and Vasilis. We are frequent travelers and have stayed in lots of beautiful places but never had hosts so nice and pleasant. Higly recommended and we hope to be back soon."

"I booked this hotel from my car, from my cell while at the beach. I kept going back to it but for some reason I kept loooimg at other spots. I’m SO glad a I pulled the trigger. The entire property was amazing. From the moment you walk down into the lobby from the parking area, you are hot with the most amazing view. Mountains. Sailboats. Beautiful clear water in every shade of blue you can imagine. "

"Have just had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are fantastic, a particular call outs for Athena on reception, who politely helped us with so many queries and always had a smile. Also Dimitri on the restaurant/bar, was so hardworking and pleasant. The staff are all very friendly and hard working. The food menu was limited, but adequate for a light lunch, the Lefkas lentil salad was amazing. As a general comment some external parts of the hotel might need to be looked at as bits are tired and the pool water could be clearer. It was quiet for our week until the end when a larger party arrived and then there was a struggle to get a sun bed/umbrella. Also the beach isnt that accessible and is small, however there are so many amazing beaches youll be spoilt for choice (beach shoes are a must). Finally if you have mobility issues this might be a challenge as there are lots of steps. The hotel is well located between Nikiana and Nidri, with lots of options to eat, shop and go on sightseeing trips. We hired a car and this was helpful as the bus is intermittent. A lovely, quiet, small hotel with friendly staff for a peaceful holiday. Enjoy"

"We saw Ionian Blue on a drive to Vasiliki and it looked so beautiful I did usual research on booking platforms only to find that it rated very poorly, eg. 6.5. Not to be deterred that evening as I was very keen to stay at Ionian Blue we popped in just as 100’s of wedding guests filed in for the reception. We had a look around the beautiful foyer/bar/view and were blown away. We decided to book for two nights and loved every minute. Firstly, Ionian Blue is a grand old dame. She is majestic. Sure some fittings could be refreshed, yes the gym has defunct equipment but the sheer beauty of this resort and the enthusiasm of the staff to help with every whim makes Ionian Blue the best stay we have had the pleasure of experiencing in the last two months of road tripping through Europe. If none of this has convinced you then lastly a dip in this clean area of Ionian Sea from the sun lounge platform or the huge immaculately clean pool after having the most superb grilled prawns and club sandwich. The food is sensational as is the service."

"There’s no check-in desk but someone contacts you a day or two before your reservation and arranges to meet you at the property. Rooms are very clean and the pool is small but nice for a refreshing dip. "

This concept hotel has so much soul that even the pictures you are staring at now – dumbfounded, hardly believing your luck – are going to fade the minute you set your foot in it. The best holiday ever, and a lot of it had to do with how we have been treated, the fabulous advice we have been given, the cordial talks we have had after long days of exploring. We were welcomed like family and when the time came to leave we parted like best friends. Subtle yet simple, this is an unlikely place for the posh crowd, rather this is the place for unassuming travelers, who take genuine interest in everything local. It is the place for those who value true down-to-earth luxury with no hint of opulence and appreciate how remarkably affordable it can be. And we loved the architecture! Rarely you find such respect for the environment, such consideration for guests' privacy, such clever landscaping and functional layout that will keep you marveling day-in day-out, is this genius or what? The location is convenient and quiet, off the busy road but very close to main routes, a short walk to Nydri town and KTEL bus stop. The views in Lefkada are truly exquisite, you are so spoilt for choice that even your postcard view from the terrace will seemingly become all too ordinary over the course of your stay.
