The staff was wonderful here! The waiters were all very nice at the restaurant and they let us have a late checkout when we had an evening bus, which was very helpful. The pool is gorgeous and the hotel is a short walk to the beach.

Varna is a working port town. If you walk away from the beach area you can see some of the real Bulgaria, and find wonderful restaurants that serve locals rather than tourists. Prices are cheaper and food is great. Good, large, shopping malls.

Varna is a lovely city - great pedestrian walkways through the shopping area, splendid sights to see, a park and a nice beach. One of the best cities we have visited.
