"If I’m being honest, we had some serious second thoughts when we first got there. There was a car in the parking lot that looked like it hadn’t moved in years with a flat tire and two years expired license tag. One room had aluminum foil covering the inside of the window. The hot tub was out of service, and there were some unusual signs around the property.
Our first instinct was to cut our losses, and keep driving on our road trip.
But once we checked in...
The room was clean, updated, and comfortable. The hotel was surprisingly quiet, the pool was nice, and breakfast was better than expected. We ended up having a really pleasant night’s stay. The staff was friendly, and despite the odd first impression, we slept well and had no complaints about the room itself.
The best way I can describe this hotel is that it has some weird vibes, but it’s a good place to stay. If you find yourself traveling through north central Washington, I would stay here again."
"This is a beautiful property! Not just a stay, but an experience! The staff were friendly and gracious! Made us feel welcome & the food was fabulous! We had a very nice dinner, and the included breakfast was also a special treat! The room was clean, cozy and comfortable, private porch was also nice to have. 10/10 recommend!"
"Three nights in the area visiting friends and exploring the sights were enough, with all the smoke from fires, for me to head back to Puget Sound. The staff I dealt with were very helpful, although their equipment was having problems. I was up and gone too early each day to try whatever breakfast they provided."
"Great space for a family of 5. Enjoyed watching a deer eat their breakfast from our screen enclosed porch. Our own breakfast was great-scones, best granola, quiche-great start to the day."
"We were here in the fall after the golf course closed and “winter pricing” was in affect. We were told it is quite busy during peak season, but it was darn near abandoned in November. Beautiful place with one golf course still under construction, more condos recently completed…lots going on for future amenities. Room was open and roomy with high ceilings and fireplace. View was gorgeous! We’ll be back!"
