Check-in was easy and efficient. The room was nice, had been recently updated. The only complaint was that the mattresses kept sliding off the metal bed frames. Also, the office is only open 9-5, so if you wanted a cup of hot tea, it had to be during that time, which did not work for my schedule. The second day, I grabbed some tea to use in the in-room Keurig, so that worked out.

We chose to stay here because of the proximity to downtown Winthrop and ski trails. The staff was organized and friendly. I liked that they sent the room number and entry code. However, the property is very dated. The walls had patches, the wood around the air conditioner was rotted, the carpet was worn and the shower head sprayed water upwards. We could hear the guests in the adjoining room through the walls. The pillows were flat and the bed was not comfortable.

I like that this hotel is not very close to the highway, less noise even for rooms facing the road. Nice location, room was clean and spacious. The only thing is they don't have a hair dryer in the room, but you can bring your own. Would stay again!
