John, our host was absolutely the best! Kind, perceptive and always helpful. Admin was also incredibly responsive via email and ensured that all of our requests and inquiries were promptly addressed. "We miss this beautiful resort already! All the staff are amazing, our host Shaamau, awesome GM, buggy rider, all the waiters, chefs at all the 4 restaurants, diving team, room cleaner, room service, art class teacher, reception, IT engineer, security, DJ, Fire man, spa team and the photographer. Special thanks to fantastic Shakhawat for proving us a very special departure dinner at our last evening there at the italian restaurant Onda and taking care of us so well. Breakfast was geat, delicious restaurant, beautiful overwater villa, fun activitites, magical spa and wonderful house reef snorkeling with turtles, mantas, nursesharks etc. Very well maintained, clean and Amazing resort with the greatest people! We are really happy that we picked The Standard as our first Maldives resort and honeymoon destination❤️🌅 and highly recommend it."

"Dusit Thani is absolutely a gem and amazing. This is my 2nd time here. First the butler and the staff are all very friendly. My original butler Naan even came by to say hi to us. Saleem our butler this time was helpful and easy to get ahold of. We had 24/7 Whatsapp access and he took care of everything for us including logistics for leaving, sea plane, dinner and activities. The house reef was spectacular. We stayed in a overwater villa again and it was well appointed, clean, modern. In pool breakfast and a trip via jet ski ride to the sand bar is a must. I highly recommend this resort"

"We noticed a nice looking hotel online at Kamadhoo island and thought it would be a nice stop for our Maldivian island hopping experience. We booked in for one night at the Swarn by Hawks. It was a beautiful hotel with amazing ocean views. The floor to ceiling glass view of the ocean is quite spectacular. We were upgraded from the Deluxe Sea View to the Executive Suite, which was amazing. We enjoyed it so much we decided to extend our stay a couple extra nights. Our travel plans changed and we ended up extending our stay at the hotel for another week. Ravin (the manager) was very accommodating in every way. The staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing. We only ate the breakfasts at the hotel and it was a delicious buffet breakfast. We can’t comment on the other meals because we ended up eating out at the local restaurants. There was construction going on around the hotel and there are deficiencies in the newly built hotel, but they are addressing them and doing renovations as needed. The cost/night reflected this and more than compensated for the issues. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. As we were leaving one of the workers ran up to us to give us a few items that we accidentally left behind in the room. Everyone at Swarn by Hawks contributed to make our stay a memorable one. Thanks for everything!!"
