"Heaven on Earth! This place is a wonderful property to visit. The staff is extremely helpful and the Cassava restaurant is top notch. When i initial checked in the first couple days, my issue was with the restaurant/buffet on the ground floor (eggs not properly made, rock in salad, etc.) After expressing my concerns to the Executive Chef, Suresh, he swiftly took action and ensured there was not another single issue during my stay. I greatly appreciate all his efforts in rectifying the bad situation and the extreme kindness and professionalism. He is a great chef and refuses to accept subpar performance. His attention to detail is impeccable. Personally, Cassava is still my favorite but you can't go wrong with trying the buffet. If you experience any issues, I highly recommend speaking with the Executive Chef and they will be resolved."

"Stayed at The Fern Kochi for one night before starting a 6-day trip through Kerala and it was a solid choice. The property has a cool vibe and feels a bit different from your typical hotel, which I liked. Some parts are a little dated, but everything was clean and worked well, so it didn’t take away from the stay. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, which made things easy, especially for a quick stopover. Food was ok, nothing over the top but definitely reliable enough for breakfast. There's a better option for dinner around the corner. One thing to keep in mind is that it’s a bit isolated and near the port area of the city..you’ll need a car to get around or into the main parts of Kochi. That said, it also makes it quieter and more relaxed. Overall, a good, easy stay and a nice way to kick off a longer trip through Kerala."
