The photographs of the hotel are deceiving as the property is made to look much larger that it actually is, especially the swimming pool. Upon arriving there we were quite disappointed for the following reasons:
1. The pool was kid size
2. The tea served at the restaurant was a dip dip sachet which is unheard of as its typically only provided that in the room as a complimentary thing with the coffee/tea maker. My friends who drink tea in the morning like most Indians were quite upset about the same.
3. For breakfast the spread wasn’t great, just few basic limited items
4. The rooms were smaller than what I saw online upon booking
Apparently we found out from someone that the original property is divided in two parts by two brothers who no longer speak with each other, therefore the space is limited.
Also, I had selected the Pay later at the hotel option but we were made to pay them before our arrival which was odd and inconvenient while I was out and about traveling elsewhere. The hotel almost canceled our vacation when I was unable to pay them in advance which was different from what I had marked when booking the property as hotels.com had provided me the option which was meaningless, so experienced a ton of inconvenience. Finally had a friend from India make the payment as it was hard for us to find another place last minute.
Hotels.com should not share the option to customers to the Pay Later at the property if the hotel is not in agreement with their policies.
