"Uros lake will be more beautiful that it is, if the community takes care of the lake. Under the houses/cabin, and in the water you could see garbages, many plastic bottles or plastic bags. Unfortunately the main care of the community is get money (to feed their family and improve the schools and communityaround there but they are not doing that). Top Uros Floating Islands Hotel Reviews

Sonesta Posadas del Inca Lake Titicaca - Puno

10/10 Excellent

"We had an amazing stay in this hotel which for me has the best location and view right on the lake. We have been travelling up and down the country for 2 weeks and spending a day resting in the beautiful garden overlooking the lake surrounded by cute alpacas and cuys ( guinea pigs ) was a beautiful way to recharge . The staff was very friendly and helpful, buffet breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and cooked food and dinner and drinks were also very tasty. I wish I spent more than 2 days there and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Puno. Thank you to all the staff!"

Hotel Conde de Lemos

8/10 Good

"Great location and room was nice. Very loud surroundings, but I have learned most hotels in Peru are not very sound proof, so just prepare for that."

Lake Titicaca Hotel

8/10 Good

"Rooms were clean, and some of the better bathrooms that we've found in Peru hotels. The onsite restaurant was good, but my wife did get food poisoning (the other 3 of us did not). The location is a bit out in the middle of nowhere with no shops, restaurants, or other hotels nearby."

GHL Hotel Lago Titicaca

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful hotel on an island in lake Titicaca. It’s got a causeway, so no boat required. The staff are wonderful, especially German at front desk, Paul at the bar, and David in the restaurant. Rooms are comfortable and clean, beds are comfy. Loved it there and would stay again."

Qelqatani Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This was a good area with a relatively easy walk to main square. The room was comfortable and quiet. Services were excellent. The staff was helpful and pleasant and breakfast was good."
