Yes, the water really is this color. The largest spring in Michigan with over 10,000 gallons per minute gushing from fissures in the limestone. At its deepest the water is 40 feet deep and averages 42 degrees year round.

Winter in Michigan. The Upper Peninsula is a forested region in Michigan bordering 3 of the Great Lakes and extending outward from Wisconsin. The room was clean quiet and comfortable. I slept great after a long drive. Breakfast was nice although no coffee. I know there’s coffee in the room but I don’t use room coffee makers. Overall I was very satisfied and pleased to stay there. I will stay there again.

The patio area was nice to sit at and enjoy a fire. There are plenty of wooded areas for privacy and dog walking. We enjoyed the clean, comfortable cabin. Our only negative was the sink situation was awkward as far as size of sink and faucet and lighting.
