"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...

"The property was really good. Clean, tidy and well presented. My only issue was that the radiators were not as warm despite being on the highest setting. The bedroom especially was very cold. Another negative is upto now I have not received my deposit back. Surely you should have a system that works for returning deposits back. People are so busy spmetimes one will forget to check that the deposit has been returned back"

Top Upper Heyford Hotel Reviews

Whately Hall

8/10 Good

"For a one night stopover the hotel was ideal. Good room, breakfast and location"

The Holt Hotel

8/10 Good

"Really nice hotel, friendly staff, delicious dinner and decent breakfast. Very easy check in and check out. One of the 2 rooms we booked had an issue with the door which rattled every time some other door along the corridor was opened as it sat too loose. We raised the issue with the reception who immediately sent someone to have a look. The found solution, whilst not perfect, helped through the night. The rooms were quite warm during the night, too warm for some of us. But overall, we had a great stay. Thank you very much."
