"When I arrived, late at night wanting to just get into my room the front desk staff spent way too much time with someone who didn't have a room, the hotel was fully booked so they went out of their way to ask me to wait until they found them a hotel near by that was not booked. That person left the hotel front lobby I finally started my check in and the front desk staff asked if I could wait again so they could run after that person with info, I said once you give me my cards so I can get to my room which I booked a long time ago and have paid for sure. I stayed here before, I enjoy the hotel it's simple, easy, the breakfast is decent, my issues are I don't know the age, and yet it has very low level toilets, I'm not overly tall but these things are in the basement. Also our bathroom door did not actually latch, not sure if the hinges are worn, the frame is twisting or what, door seemed solid but the latch was not cleaning the plate. I don't like change and if I'm in the area I'll probably stay there again, I upgraded our room, I didn't have issues with the price, just follow through on the upkeep and attention to detail. Guests who have booked and paid for rooms should get preferential treatment over ones who didn't book, epically when there are no available rooms."

"We where not greeted with a hello or smile on arrival. We were confused with the TV operation having never needed to use my cel phone to operate a television set. Only had Roku as a way to view news and old movies (three days of NHL play offs with no coverage). The Little round bowl toilet was only 13 or 14 inches high. Carpeted hall way was littered with paper and dirt and was not vacuumed for three days. Litter was around the entrance to the lobby from outside. The yellow paint on the entrance threshold was so worn off the sill was rusting. The windows on the inside dinning area were dirty and needed cleaning. The ice machine was out of service every time we went to get ice, we had to buy ice for our beverages. The staff had poor English skills and were hard to understand, and were always on their cell phones. We had to ask for a receipt on leaving. WE VISIT TWICE A YEAR BUT WILL NOT COME BACK HERE."
