"The hotel has very few restaurants nearby but is within easy walking distance to metro and bus stops. The hotel itself is rather tired looking and the rooms could use some renovations. The included, self-serve breakfast had hot and cold items, including delicious fresh fruit. The work staff worked hard to keep it stocked but were often running behind due to the large number of people. The next time we go to Santiago we will probably choose to stay in Lastarria neighborhood as it has interesting shops and many restaurants."

"It’s few miles from the airport but they provide a free shuttle which takes a few minute to get to the airport. For the price and convenience it’s a solid choice for transit or for connecting flights."

"We got there at noon and waited in the bar area. We were assigned a room which was not ready at 3pm, check-in time. There was 3 of us renting rooms, 1 was ready early, 1 was ready before 3pm and was ready for a while but we werent infotmed it was ready. We were assigned a different room , not sure why we couldnt have gotten it earlier. The toilet squealed and the coffee area only had 2 ciffee pods, no tea, no cream, no sugar. I went back down and asked at 3:30 for it to be rectified. It wasnt. I went back diwn to the front desk before going to eat. I asked and they wanted to pawn me off on someone ekse. I said you talk to whoever and rectify it. When they did finally bring the supplies we were missing in the original setup, they tried to charge it to our room. We told them that was unacceptable and explained the situation and they grudgingly didnt charge us. We also had issues with the dining staff, instead of bringing us cold water, they brought us boiling hot water as drinking water. It took an hour to get 2 beers after the first bottle had chunks. I then asked for no spinach, seasoned vegetables from the menu instead, but no mushrooms. They bring me 3 ribs, tons of mashed potatoes, and all mushrooms for the vegetable. After the 3rd attempt to send it back, i received the seasoned vegetables but it was 1/2 mushrooms. The food manager comped my bill, but we were totally dissatisfied with the service."

"This is by far the best value-for-money hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is very professional, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The location is perhaps one of the best in Santiago. It is located in a quiet and safe street, surrounded by restaurants and stores. If you ever stayed at The Chandler Hotel in NYC, the Capital Bellet Hotel exceeds it in value by miles. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Santiago."
