"I’m sure on a good day with out rain this place is fabulous. But the day we arrive it was raining all day. Therefore we had to sit in the bar with a fire burning away. The staff are lovely and welcoming, the dinner we had was not too bad actually. Would love to come back with nicer weather to truly appreciate the place."

"This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in South Africa. The rainbow chalet was super nice with a spectacular view. The workers were very friendly and helpful. And the food, can't even say enough about the chef. Every meal was absolutely delicious, especially the chicken pie, and the best meal we had in South Africa."

"The place was generally in good keep including the room, except behind the curtains. Spiders had spun their webs everywhere resulting in us having to ask the reception desk for spray to kill them, so this was a big no no to housekeeping. Dining area staff seemed absent minded throughout the four days there. Tranquil and refreshing overall although I found myself wishing that I had booked into a mainstream hotel on several occasions."

"We stayed there for just one night to attend a function in Underberg,so was just needing a bed.Therefore did not use the facility.However did notice the grounds of the hotel were well kept and the pool looked clean and safe.Staff were very friendly and helpful.We arrived early and they were able to check us in and rooms were ready.the rooms and hotel are clean and comfortable.Unfortunately no hot water in the morning but that could have been because another room had drained the geyser just...

"We stayed in the 2 bedroom chalet. We'll appointed, but the carpets must go. !!! Disgusting smell(no mat to clean your feet when walking in from outside)... needs attention, the couches need a clean. The need were comfortable. Rooms spacious and kitchen well fitted out. We have been before, and our up with the smell of the carpets.... for the view. Food in restaurant was good"
