The hotel is situated in a truly stunning location.. looking over a gorge towards the old houses of Quenca. The hotel rooms are large and well appointed and the reception staff excellent. the lady on reception found me a local chemist's late night address and helped me load it into my sat nav.
We could not fault these aspects of the hotel.. and if this was all of the experience then we would have left extremely happy.
The problem we had was with the evening meal. My partner is Vegetarian and...

Do not be put off by the rather innocuous building, or front entrance. This, is a class act once inside.
Shown to our suite by Ana, our host, who couldn’t have been more helpful. The Suite was spotless. Large living area, bathroom with a jacuzzi bath as well as a shower, it was absolutely perfect. Great location in the old town.
Would definitely return.

A charming hotel in a historic building looking out (and overhanging) the amazing river valley from which the old town sticks up on a huge stone base. You don't get parador-style luxury but very nice rooms (ours had a fantastic view from a sort of conservatory area) and a good breakfast. The restaurant quite good - especially if some people want full meals while others want snacks though the Fogon next door would be a better bet for a blow out and the Asador Maria Moreno 600 metres further...

I absolutely loved staying in this place with my two kids. The apartment is spacious and rustic, had great views of the mountains and it’s in the perfect location. The price was crazy good tbh. I wish I could have stayed longer!

We loved this hotel - it was really good value for the price we paid. It's next to Dia store and another commercial centre, plus a petrol station and McDonalds. Parking was free, so that's a huge bonus. And we asked for a room facing away from the road (there is a park on the other side of the hotel), so it was nice and quiet. The people at the reception were lovely too and explained (in English, without even being asked to:) how to get to Cuenca's old town the next day and where to park for...

Excellent welcome and lovely surroundings. Perfect for relaxing and taking a dip in the pool. Easy to drive to Cuenca, Dining under the trees was a magical experience. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The staff member working at the reception kept it open late for us as we arrived later than planned due to a delayed train. She was very welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean and spacious.
