The Gibson Hotel Great Falls, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"We’ve stayed here several times before. The hotel has been very tastefully remodeled. Breakfast options are not typical but terrific. My only complaints are the hot water takes forever to get warm and once it does it’s way too hot and can’t be turned down no matter how much you turn the hot/cold dial up or down. We have had this problem before in a different room and thought is was an anomaly . Also, although the location is downtown and near some great food spots there are a lot of homeless people that hang around the perimeter of the property which gives us concern for vehicle break ins although that has not happened in the past."
"Great stay. The hotel is perfectly located for most of the places to visit in Great Falls and the setting is fantastic. The staff were super friendly and professional and the property in great condition. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable and a view of the river. Free breakfast was good and 24 coffee and hot drinks a nice surprise."
"Good price and mostly quite clean. Extensive selection of cable channels. Helpful staff. Some of the appliances were not cleaned to the standard of other hotels (the microwave was very dirty under the spinning plate); others were plugged into the wall in precarious places (the lamp’s plug had the bed pressed against it and its dimmer knob had a faint charge to it). I booked in hotels.com and they did not ask for an incidental hold when I checked in."
