Beautiful location, excellent property and perfect service. One of the most luxurious hotels we have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble for us - from having treatments organised to ensuring we didn't miss supper.

Wonderful location, a series of very cute cabins nestled into the hillside. We woke up to beautiful views of the forest which we e joyed from our balcony. Great restaurant onsite. The staff were a mixed bunch, the waiting staff were a delight and some of the front desk staff were very helpful ordering cabs for us at 5am, what I assume is the manager left a lot to be desired in terms of communication and politeness.

Excellent reception and courteous check in

One night stay to experience the Periyar reserve close by. Our room was enormous and located near the very back of the property. Sadly building works are directly next to the property so we heard angle grinding. Mgr tried to stop them but only the rain did. Staff amazing. Food delicious. Great cocktails and beers. The property is really good. The view was really mesmerizing with a background of long trees and the foggy tea estate after rainfall. Breakfast was Very Good. Staff is also very much responsive.

Close to Munnar yet perched high above this slightly scrappy town gives this historical place a lofty view of the verdant valleys. The staff are very helpful and friendly on all levels. We felt it very important to know this place's unique history to really understand what the owners are trying to achieve. Great hotel facility. Within easy reach of all activities to do in the area. Reception staff exceptionally helpful. I would recommend this hotel for you stay in Thekkady.
