"One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka! Lovely family run accommodation in a quiet area. The family were so welcoming and it was such a pleasure getting to know them. The room was very spacious , clean , nicely decorated and very comfortable. We had dinner and had big portions of delicious , authentic , home cooked food. "The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended."
