Resort was just amazing, felt like we were at home and was very welcomed. The stuff were very helpful and so friendly. Would 100% recommend this location was everything is so close to the resort and is very affordable. Wifi had noooo issues which was a surprise worked everyday. And the bedroom was just so comforting.
The staff were all fantastic. Place was very clean and close to Ubud main center. The villas were beautiful. We had our own private pool which the kids loved!
Great little resort with a lovely setting - the pool villa was fabulous and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming - no request was ever to much. Highly recommend.
We had a great stay at The Sungu. Firstly they happily picked us up from the airport late in the evening, 5 hours later than initially arranged due to changed flights. Our room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious, and so was the afternoon tea and cake. There is a shuttle in and out of Ubud central at any time you like, even though it really is close enough to walk. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would happily return to The Sungu.

Was nice
The rooms were nice and the pool was amazing, the only reason it didn’t get top marks was, its was a bit lacking in maintenance it just needed a little bit of tlc
Amazing location, walking distance to downtown Ubud and Alchemy restaurant. Safe and beautiful premises. I couldn’t believe how affordable room service was. My kids loved it all. The only challenge was front desk staff at times didn’t speak English.
