The individual villas are beautiful and entirely made from antique wood which gives them a cosy feeling. Be aware however that outside sounds can easily enter and there is little distance between the villas So if you are sound sensitive: bring earplugs.
Amazing views from the pool! Love the location though wasn’t aware it was 5 mins from reception so room service has to be driven up the road. Scooter rental and all other requests were just a phone call away. Would recommend for couples.
Our Madani stay couldn't have been any better! From arrival to departure, the staff was so warm and accommodating in any of our wishes, we felt like we were part of the family. We booked the private villa in the rice terraces and the room and views are outstanding, I highly recommend booking this room - it is so peaceful! With our stay, we booked a last-minute couples massage and the staff was so quick to accommodate and have the massage therapists come to our villa for our massage, facial and body scrubs poolside, which is a must when you stay here!! On one of our rides to our villa we were telling Mrs. Madani how we discovered and loved Mangosteens, the next day at checkout she had 2 bags of Mangosteens for our flight home, I have never experienced such hospitality. We are looking forward to our next visit to Ubud and will always stay with Madani!
Great friendly staff, excellent food, clean beautiful traditional style villa, beautiful garden, great day trip taxi service, good location with free shuttle service to Ubud centre.
My husband and I stayed in three different bungalow hotels during our trip to Bali and Madani Antique Villas was by far the most magical experience we had. It was truly shocking how perfect and serene the property is. Madani, a boutique hotel located in the middle of lush green and peaceful rice fields, is very close to Ubud center; it is very easy to get to the city via the hotel's free shuttle service. You can also easily explore the surrounding area and nearby tourist attractions with the daily scooter rental service.
The following three reasons are why I recommend staying here over any other option if you are visiting Ubud. 1) A diverse breakfast menu. We stayed at Madani for 4 days and had a different breakfast option every morning. 2) An amazing and extremely accommodating staff. Some of my clothes in my luggage accidentally got dirty during our last night at the hotel. The staff went out of their way to clean my clothes and deliver them to my next hotel destination in Ubud. 3) An insanely romantic and blissful bathroom experience. Imagine, after a long and tiring flight, being welcomed by a tub filled with fresh flowers, in a partially roofless bathroom that is located outside of your bungalow. My husband and I were able to enjoy a relaxing flower bath under the starry night sky. Talk about a surreal movie-esque experience.
