"As soon as you walk in you get this awful smell, smells like a dead rodent or something.. room wasn’t very clean you can tell they do a quick wipe down and just let the next person go in. but unfortunately this was one of the better motels in the area. People at the front desk were friendly, I just wouldn’t book again unfortunately."

"I really enjoy staying at the Comfort Suites (this was my second time there) for concerts at Hampton Coliseum. The location is great with easy access to all kinds of restaurants and shopping, and it’s an easy 20-25 minute drive to the Coliseum. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff is very nice. It’s also very convenient to fly in and out of Newport News airport. "
"The room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable along with the bedding. It has a good sized refrigerator. The breakfast was outstanding and the dining area was spacious and comfortable. There plenty of shopping nearby ( including Patrick Henry Mall). Gaming for kids “ Tilt” is inside the mall. "

"The hotel had a few positives — check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and I appreciated that management refunded me when I checked out a day early. The location is also convenient, with easy access to I-64 and several restaurants nearby.
However, the downsides outweighed the positives. The breakfast options were very limited, and my room did not feel clean upon arrival. The biggest concern was finding a cockroach in the shower, which was unsettling. I ultimately only stayed here because other nearby hotels did not have availability."
