"Staff were friendly and helpful but the room itself was rather tired looking. The grouting around the shower was dirty and the flooring in the bathroom was ancient. The breakfast was ok and well cooked and they did cater for gluten free which was great as my husband is coeliac but everything was just luke warm and the tea/coffee we had to make ourselves with water from a flask which was hardly even warm so made a terrible cup of tea. It’s a shame as a few little changes could make a massive difference."

"A decent walk away from the town centre, this was ideal for a quick overnight stay. Hotel very dated and at night we got back to find security trying to keep trouble makers out the car park. However, we got a random unexpected upgrade into a suite which was exciting. Loved the double spa bath. Not bad for what we paid."

"Great easy hotel Perf for Alton towers has a really nice pub opposite it which did a carvery has petrol station and a breakfast and Asian cafe also great room was fine no hair dryer tho and small shower not in a bathroom and toilet was in a cupboard "

"We were told shortly before arriving that there is no bar or restaurant and no breakfast. I'm not sure if the property is still under the OYO brand? The welcome we had was very good but the bathroom had lots of cobwebs and was not very clean"

"I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay."
