Hiru who runs the place is helpful and a nice guy. As was his father who offers a taxi service via a car or a tuktuk.
The food in the rooftop bar was lovely. Particularly the breakfast which is included in the price of the hotel.

"The family that run Holiday Inn in Midigama are fantastic!
We stayed in the deluxe double room with the most comfortable bed. I even found out where they bought the sheets and bought some for my own bed!
Outstanding service and quality.
I wish we could have stayed longer but we will make it a must to stay there next time we are in Midigama.

"My partner and I arrived at the hotel Ekho Welligama (07/01/20)we booked through Expedia to find that this place has seriously dated since the pictures were taken or perhaps they’ve just been photoshopped?
The room is very basic which I don’t really mind but since we arrived on the 7th jan 2020 our room has not been cleaned and no clean towels have been replaced. I feel that a fresh towel should be offered. I even managed to track down the manager and she told me it would be done(12/1/20 09:15)...
