"We stayed here on our first night in Iceland with a plan to tour the south coast. Check-in was issued by email and super easy to get into the building and room with our code. The room was as expected with a coffee machine/tv/private bathroom and overall for the price this stay was fantastic, a great pit stop if you don’t want to be travelling from the city centre out to destinations every day. We had no issues with noise, the bed was comfy and the room was lovely and toasty during winter time....

"This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay. The northern lights viewing space at the top of the tower is incredible! It’s quiet, cozy & has seating all around. "This dome was perfect! Very clean which is the most important to me. It had all the essentials, extra blankets and the beds were comfortable. The host was super responsive and sent delivered more wood for us quickly. The town of Selfoss is 5-6 kilometers and has nice dining options. My family enjoyed our stay very much and will be coming back! "

"The hotel is closed to a farm with many horses running and playing in the field. The hotel is clean and the room is bright. The room has a private washroom. The hotel provides free breakfast and dinner is available. Parking is easy. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again."

"Askot Cottage was amazing! We definitely wished we had stayed more than one night. Directions were clear, property was well illuminated, and entry was easy. I appreciated the fact that each cottage has its own EV charger and washer/dryer combo. We also had a great view of the northern lights during our stay! "

"We were amongst the first few guests at this outstanding new hotel. The location is jaw-droppingly stunning in every direction with sea views on one side and lake/Mountain views on the other. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was immaculate with a very comfortable bed and high quality down duvet and pillows.
