"Incredible hotel! Only frustration was expensive self-park"

"I do not suggest this hotel. We chose it for the price since the others in the area wanted $300+ (high for a quick stay to break up a drive) and per usual, you get what you pay for. It was dirty, run-down, odd characters hung around the lobby, we turned on the water in the sink and the pipe below burst out water all over the carpet. Look for newer hotels if staying in the Roanoke, VA area. "

"Stay was mostly good. Comfortable bed, and breakfast was simple but good for a quick bite. Friendly front desk. Only issue was our room door didn't close tightly so it let in a draft and lots of traffic noise. Management thanked us for reporting it but no apology or room discount. Would stay again but not that room."

"Should have been made aware that the entire lobby area was under deep renovation. Breakfast in meeting room. Room was next the elevator - noisy! Room so small. Shower and toilet so close. Least favorite hotel rom design ever! Not worth $265 - !!!"

"The staff is phenomenal. They definitely put customer service ahead of everything else. The property is very clean and well maintained. The room we stayed in was updated and very well appointed. Everything worked as we expected. Plenty of fast food places close by, and more if you don’t mind driving to the other side of Troutville. There is a DG close by, and a Walmart across town (close). We ate at the Cracker Barrel near the hotel and it was very good. Please note: if you are staying for a short time, ask for housekeeping at the front desk. Not a big deal post COVID but just be aware. If you have a longer stay, they hit your room on the third day automatically. All things considered, I would absolutely recommend this Comfort Inn. 10/10"
