A short but memorable stay for all the right reasons! Originally had booked for one night, but liked so much that we extended our stay. On arrival were given a tour of the facilities and shown to room. The room was large, modern, bright and of a lovely standard. As a premium room it included extra touches like a coffee machine. It was mine and my partner first time to st.ives and carbis bay. All I can say is wow.....that place is magical , clear waters golden sands , the views are spectacular. The people nothing but warm and welcoming. We have visited Penzance on many day trips during summer months and often thought it may be nice to visit 'out of season'. Additionally we have always felt that The Dolphin looks a nice place to stay, with an excellent location by the harbour. We travelled down on the overnight train from Paddington (an experience in itself), and was not disappointed with our choice of The Dolphin to stay. The weather was kind to us, and we had three lovely days in and around Penzance.

I would really recommend this hotel if you are a dog owner wanting to bring them with you, or if you are looking for a hotel in a lovely location just away from the main bustle of Falmouth.
