Aquarius on the Beach
Room 1304. Well maintained, as good as it was when i stayed there in 1975, when it was the newly built Travelodge. Good ocean views. No noise through walls from other guests occupying the facility, unlike the Sugarshaker. Good parking, though no guarantee of a space. Lady at check-in was very nice. ...

Rydges Southbank Townsville
Room was clean, well presented, bed comfortable. The shower water was very hard to get to temperature and slow to come through. Breakfast was good however bacon was over cooked and dry. For price of breakfast coffee (even though not nice) should've been included. Plenty of nice coffee places ...
