"I have never had such good sleep outside my home. We had an excellent experience here. The location is perfect, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. "

" The hotel gave me a different room from original booking, the pre parking arrangements did not work. The food in the bar area on Friday night was very poor. The hotel had a power cut on Friday night and building work outside the hotel, which began at 7.45 Monday morning. I had a long discussion with reception about my parking in which he tried to blame a third party and it was my responsibility to sort it out! The only way I could sort this out was by getting a refund and arranging alternative parking. Service not expected by this chain of hotel."
