"It's a boutique hotel in an old building so access up the central stairway could prove an issue if you have a mobility issue. It has a popular bar for locals and traditional Scottish musicians play plus they do whisky tastings. I enjoyed staying there. Parking is straight forward in the council car park on Tweeddale Street right opposite the property. You can pay for your whole stay period on the app and it's very reasonable."
"Reception staff helpful but restaurant staff could do with a wee bit of training. We didn't know it was help yourself in our first morning at breakfast. We weren't asked if everything was ok. Not even a thank you and have a nice day
