"The room was clean and I was provided amazing service by the owner Mr. Inder Soni and the housekeeping staff Arjun. The only issue was that the amenities seemed old (like a torn blanket) but it was immediately replaced with a good one. Also would suggest providing a dustbin inside the room"

"Wonderful, atmospheric & quirky hotel with comfortable rooms, kind & helpful staff & delicious vegetarian menu ( especially the garlic naan!). Traditional musicians played both nights we were there & loved to involve the guests. Great location just round the corner from the stepwell & near the clock tower & market. Nearby secure parking. Steep stairs so wouldn’t be great if you have vertigo!"

"Friendly reception staff, good location, good views from the rooftop. Room was large with a comfortable bed. It was generally well kept but a few bits starting to show their age. The hot water didn't last that long - not long enough for 2 showers back to back."

Don't be distracted by "This homestay is closed, the owner left", 'We are full, we only have a dormitory bed available". The room itself is good value (paid 1450 INR per night) with a nice view over the city, once and if you get there..."
