"I traveled with my husband and our 15 weeks old puppy to the BWCA and wanted to stop in Duluth on the way back to enjoy the last day and unwind. I chose Pier B because it is pet friendly and has a nice restaurant on site. What a wonderful discovery. This became my hotel of choice in Duluth from here on out. Rooms are beautiful (we had a king mini suite with a soaking tub and spectacular view of the harbour and the lift bridge). The staff are soooo friendly and loved our puppy. We did not get to eat dinner at the restaurant, because it too late by the time we arrived and settled in, but there was a late pizza service, so we ate pizza at the bar with a bottle of nice wine. We did eat breakfast at the restaurant and the food was delicious. Animals are not allowed inside the restaurant, so we order our food to go and had our meal outside on a patio with a few. There was so much to do in our short stay - outdoor Jacuzzi (open year around - we’ll be back around Christmas for that experience), multiple fire pits (s’more kits provide at the front desk), various bridge view decks, available for the guests. I was up early in the morning and took a stroll at sunrise with my puppy along the shore. Lots of walking paths available. After we checked out we all walked to canal park (15 min walk), and kept going on the boardwalk to the lift bridge, then the light house, and settled in for a wonderful lunch at the canal park brewery. Amazing experience!"
