"Older facility but very well maintained. Beautiful view from the room. Happy hours is a plus (drinks included, foot bath with a view, snacks). Recommended if you have a car to explore the Izu Peninsula during your stay as there is more limited options nearby the hotel (nearby town has more options for dining). "
"The place is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is so calming and the food is amazing. It is perfect for both couples and solo travelers! The only thing I can complain about is the heat in the onsen, but that is a me-problem😆"
"Beautiful, charming and peaceful onsen stay. We enjoyed delicious authentic meals and truly unique onsen facilities. Wonderful hospitality, you feel like you have stepped back in time. Perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing and authentic cultural ryokan in Japan. "
"The architecture was beautiful and sophisticated - Very Japanese and very clean. The rooms were the best we experienced in Japan. The food was impeccable. The Onsen was gorgeous. The service beyond five star. Yes go and experience this hotel it is truly amazing!"
"Mixed feelings on this guest house - it was lovely decorated and recently renovated by the owner, who was lovely and super friendly & helpful. "Onsen with a great view. The outdoor onsen was my favorite. It was a perfect temperature and the environment was relaxing. I was solo traveling so I didn't use the ping pong or karaoke room, but I will definitely bring friends next time. I stayed in a traditional tatami style room and was pleased with the layout. I will say there's not much to eat in the immediate area, so definitely include the breakfast and dinner in your stay."
