This hostel has a very sociable atmosphere and I enjoy with many guests every day. But I have never seen this couple talk with other guests. Her boyfriend is friendly enough, but she is difficult and generally didn't even greet me back.One day, she started arranging many coins on my desk, so I assumed she wants to exchange smaller coins for larger coins (many guests ask me such requests). So I took the money out of my own wallet. She uses this example as a basis for saying "I struggled with communication," but I think it's obviously weirder to spread coins on someone's desk for no reason. Of course, I did it out of kindness, and I'm surprising that someone would feel bad by such so trivial thing. As one of the funniest review topics, I will share her story in various interacting places from now on.

Please don't believe this review, which is full of lies and malice.The first lie. I defenitely did not say "You can use everything in the kitchen to cook." The rice cooker was out of order and I had hidden it in the back. But they found and took out and were using it without permission (I have never seen such a strange guest), so I told them not to use it. But they didn't accept it and did the same things again. In addition, they used towels to dry hands as dust cloth, cooked in areas other than the kitchen, broke cooking utensils and chairs. They were doing too many selfish and annoying acts, So I said “If you cause any more trouble, I will kick you out".They were also extremely unfriendly. They didn't even proper respond to me or other guests talking to them, which ruined the atmosphere of a shared space where everyone was having a good time. It was also really bad.They didn't consider the many problems they caused and wrote lies and malicious review as if they were good guests. I think they are one of the worst guests in my hostel's history. We are always turns on the air conditioner in the bedroom and manages the room temperature. In addition, Tokyo Skytree is 12 min far, Ueno/Asakusa is 15 min, and Tokyo Station is 30 min. These are undeniable facts, so “much hotter than outside” or “50 mins from anything” are equally vicious lies written by such an aweful guys. Please don't believe them.

It was obviously mismatching. They have never known about hostel (guest house). They asked me “it is weird, why isn't it private room ?” Of course, it is written “dorm room”or “shared room”at our page on all booking site. And also, of course we have AC at all rooms, and have lock system of bathroom. In Japan, I have never seen such a hostel which doesn't have them. Their complain was not made by us. All of them are from their misunderstanding. Before the booking, If they have read all information on our page, this gap was not happened. So, they had to pay cancellation charge to me, and pay fee to booking site. It is also written on the policy page ! Even on this conversation, they had too many misunderstandings. Anyway, I hope all new guests to read this comment. And I expect, you are having literacy mind and can understand which is correct.

About the temperature is really difficult problem. In one room on same situation, some guests say “it's hot” but another guests say “it's cold.” If you want to control everything the way you want, I don't recommend you to stay at shared room. And, laundry service is not free. It is normal things in Japan.
