Nice quiet location. Apartment is clean and functional and reasonably roomy while being compact sized. No front desk, but staff a three minute walk .was responsive by email. Loved the convenience of an en-suite washer. Kitchen is usable and functional. Immediate area has a rural feel. A very good supermarket is only 3 minutes walk away. Highly recommend the Viga Corte Chidoricho.

The apartment was immaculately clean, and had all the facilities needed for a 5 day stay. The transport links are great - 20 mins to Gotanda and from there easy access to Shibuya, Harajuku etc, and 10 mins to Kamata and from there onto Tokyo centre or Yokohama. Local grocery shops on the quiet street. For those who read the reviews and worry about checking in, it’s really not difficult. First you’ll need to digitally upload a photo to the website when you book - you’ll get a link to do this. You’ll be emailed the front door pin and your room pin a day or so before staying. At the property itself you just take selfies and fill in your details. The lobby door is open all the time. I suspect those who had difficulty perhaps did not check their emails but it really is not hard!

Location has some pros, grocery store near by and 2 train stations near by! But that’s it…. Property manager was very helpful the one time I bumped into him at the property. So thank you to him! Otherwise there is never anyone there to help. I contacted customer service for assistance on a few issues and they were not helpful with any of the issue's ,eg: toilet paper we were given 4 rolls for 3 people for 2 weeks, they told me to “go and buy more myself.” Very strange and rude to me The check in system they have in place is definitely not convenient, especially after a long day travelling! We arrived at 10pm, if it wasn’t for another guest, we would have been left locked out till morning.

We send all necessary information to all our guests before their arrival but some booking websites sometimes fail to deliver messages to guests. It was actually pretty great once we got past the check-in nightmare. My girlfriend is Japanese so she loved being able to buy food from the grocery store and cook. So, it would have been perfect if non-perishable essentials (salt, pepper, cooking oil, coffee, etc) were provided.

The property is so so. There was problem in the lock. It took 2 hours to figure out lock key to enter the room. Electronic lock was not working. Mechanical key is difficult to get. It was scary to check in. At one time we were so disturbe as we were not able to open the door as we could not find alternate mechanical key. Kichnete is too small space to wotk. Toilet seat heating was not working. AC was not working. Overall so so experience. They should have someone on front desk for atleat 2 hours a day to resolve day to day issues. 3 to 5pm could be better.

Great customer service prompt and fast. Location is more of a bit quiet and not many shops around the apartment, there is a 7 11 store, lawson store nearby as well as a reasonable size supermarket nearby. Room is great especially we can do and dry out laundry in the bath room

Excellent. Room entrance door requires insulation. Its freezing cold in cold weather. AC is not enough to heat the hallway

Excellent stay! Staff were helpful, friendly, and professional through messaging. Convenient location on the Tokyu Ikegami and Tokyu Tamagawa train lines. I would highly recommend this property for your stay if you are looking for a more apartment style accommodation!

It is a perfect place if you are looking for a affordable place to stay in Tokyo. Train is very close, but do prepare 30-40mins to go to core downtown.

Worst of all
Pathetic Experience. Check-in is a big problem. Even other guests said the same. No clear instructions for anything, no reception staff, and no one attends helpline no matter you call morning, afternoon, evening (anytime). Cooktop was scary, on turning one on, other one triggers too and with gas getting on and off itself, I found it scary. Water goes hot and cold itself. Right near my pillow, was a cold fan, blowing in outside's cold air. Somehow got a hold of staff, they said they can't help it. They say it is,Japanese bylaw ventilation. I said then you could put it on wall above, why beds are right beside that fan and so down that is next to pillow. They didn't change room. That fan never turns off. Very rude staff. Struggled hours to figure out how to check in to my room. Pathetic. Booked and paid for four people, only gave us one single bed and one single twin bed. Rip off accommodation. Hardly slept as was extremely uncomfortable. They would never care for your comfort. They say no to all your requests.

The instruction at door code is not that specific and we experience a bit hard to get inside the facility after we check in. However, over all is clean and easy access to train stations.

This place is great for family. It is convenient and accessible to public transport and other amenities like 7-11, local restaurants and supermarket. The room that we stayed was a bit small for a family with two grown kids but it comes complete with full kitchen, washing machine which are convenient for our family. Despite all the good points, we found the self check-in system a bit laborious especially after a long flight that arrived early in morning. Perhaps allowing us to submit all the passport details beforehand will enable us to skip a few steps. We had accidently skipped reading the page that gave us our room number and the key code and had to do the check-in process all over again. I hope the next guest will have an easier time with this process. While public transportation is great with two stations nearby, it doesn't come cheap. Each trip say to shibuya will set you back about 350 yen or Tokyo at 550yen. If you travel everyday the cost can add up. But that's Tokyo.

Clean, but far from the city centre
We stayed in the property for 5 nights, four of us, me and my 3 adult children. We had a pleasant stay, since the basic necessities were provided and the unit is clean. However, the property is around 30 minutes away from the city centre. We had a lot of commuting thru the train, so additional costs. There are 2 train stations nearby. We always allotted a 1 hour travel time to the meet up place, which is the nearest hotel, when ever we avail of tours. Likewise, the check in process is a challenge. You need to do your own check in.

- kitchen area smells and kitchen cabinet not cleaned (can see oil stained on the door) - ply card in the bathroom about how to sort the trash was dirty though its laminated. - laundry basket was obviously not even rinsed, there's dirty and hair - bed was not clean, you can see stained and hair - booked the apartment for 4 pax, but can only for 3 pax. As the bed is 2 fitted single bed. - not much space to walk, brought 1 small cabin size, medium and large luggage.

Check in needs improvement!
This place is not a hotel, more of an apartment complex. The location/area was good, residential. Somehow I thought there was a reception with staffs, but no. There is no one to check you in. There is no instructions on how to get in the building. Very unclear and confusing. You don’t need key but codes to get in the building and into the rooms, which will be given to you before checking in and after. The small room where you check in needs air conditioning.
