This was our first hotel in Tokyo and it was a great way to start. Conveniently located in Shinjuku, it was awesome to walk just a couple of blocks and be right amongst the Shinjuku scene and energy. The staff was very helpful as we were getting settled. Fun interior with the neon. Fun place to stay at a great price.
Very confortable place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage there before check in and for a few hours after we checked out.
The location is very close to shops and Koreatown. Staff are very helpful and good in English. It may be close to shops but it isn't noisy. Rooms are standard size but ours came with a sauna which was fantastic and quite sizable. Really love the accessories they provide for free, like drinks, pyjamas and face wash.
Amazing stay overall! The location was definitely one of the best parts. It’s within walking distance to so many eateries, convenience stores, and great spots to explore. There’s even a Don Quijote right across the street, which was incredibly convenient for snacks, shopping, and last-minute finds. There was also a 7-Eleven right on the corner and a FamilyMart on the other side, which made grabbing quick meals, drinks, or anything we forgot super easy.
The rooms are very, very small, so if you’re used to more space, definitely keep that in mind but honestly, that’s pretty common in Japan. Even so, it was still very doable, clean, and comfortable enough for sleeping and getting ready after long days of exploring. The location and convenience alone made the stay worth it. I would absolutely stay here again!
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo - Shinjuku. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, the room was impeccably clean, and the location was incredibly convenient—perfect for exploring the city

They had new drinks for us everyday day at our door. They wouldn’t make the bed if your personal items were on there. They changed towels and pajamas everyday which was nice. Since it was cold the heater was nice.
Great location to travel around tokyo, with great staff, facilities and cleanliness!

We had a great stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, nice size room, clean and comfortable. Hotel provided complete toiletries, skincare products, pyjamas, beverages, etc. Great location
Good location, walkable to train stations. Plenty of food choices around the hotel. Rooms are a bit small but this is Tokyo. English communication is slightly challenging but we managed.
pros:
Location was good, 10 minute walk to the train station, nearby convenience stores and a lot of restaurants, korea town, etc. Quiet street, so noise wasnt a problem, great room soundproof as well. Loved that they changed the towels and give 2 bottles of water and empty the garbage EVERY DAY. Staff was SUPER kind, theres a currency exchange machine at the lobby (but rates are bad, theres a nearby currency exchange store) Free amenities (unlimited, as needed) like hair brush, toothbrush, bath towel scrub, pajama. Hotel uses yamato to transport the luggages, i used it to transport them from tokyo to kyoto, was seamless the process. Apparently you can also leave your luggages before check in and after check out.
cons
Small room and you cant open the windows which i felt suffocating sometimes due to the small space.
Air conditioner can be weak.
Sometimes the bathroom will have sewage smell.
Room was very clean. Front desk and cleaning staff are very polite and helpful. Room and hotel is in good condition. The room was reasonably sized. I was a bit surprised that the bathroom shower and tub was quite large.
I liked the pajamas they let you use.
