For our first time in Tokyo, this place was very convenient and clean, but small. For 2 people in a Economy Double Room, we made it work, there is luggage storage under the bed. There was a family mart just across the street, shinjuku station was very near, and a walk away to omoide yokocho and lots of restaurants. Laundry, there is laundry rooms on certain floors. You can check which washer/dryers were available by checking the status through your tv which was pretty neat. We had a great stay.

The location was great. Staffs was very helpful and nice. Airport limousine drop off and pick up in front of the hotel.

Rooms are tiny, but that's not surprising for Tokyo. They were clean and comfortable enough. You can find a ton of free toiletries available in the hotel lobby and there's also a convenient money exchange machine. We ended up using it a lot, there are lots of places, especially restaurants, in Tokyo where they don't accept credit cards. Breakfast was reasonably priced and included both Western and Japanese selections. It was a bit repetitive, but it wasn't a problem given we only stayed for a few nights.

We stayed for 7 nights at Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku. It is in an excellent location, walkable to most sights in Shinjuku. The train station is across the street with access to the subway right next door. I highly recommend getting the buffet breakfast. It has excellent variety with traditional and Western choices. The hotel is clean, excellent staff and decent sized room.
