By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. If you are not claustrophobic give them a try, it's a special experience on its own :)

The room was very clean and the amenities were helpful. The staff were also very courteous and friendly. The walls were a little thin, I could hear a couple in the room next to me, but it wasn’t unbearable and I couldn’t hear what they were saying exactly, so no harm.

We had two rooms for our party of four and really appreciated the wonderful atmosphere plus great accommodations. We ate breakfast every morning in the hotel restaurant with the food and service outstanding. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location and the overall experience!

The hotel was really easy to get to and not that far from the subway stop. The front staff were welcoming and made checking in a breeze. I stayed in a single room, which was typically sized for Japan. It had all the amenities that you would need, like a safe, refrigerator, kettle, USB charger, and blow dryer. The room and bathroom were clean and well stocked. I would definitely stay there again. The next time I go to Japan.

The person at the front desk went above and beyond to resolve an issue with my reservation. The hotel was VERY quiet considering proximity to the busy area. 10 - 15 minute walk to Memory Lane and Shinjuku Station. We’ll stocked convenience stores nearby.
