Perfect stay. Room was much bigger than expected, and excellent value for money! Would highly recommend- also easy access to munich centre as the tube station is about a 2 minute walk!

It is conveniently located, very close to Aidenbachstrasse U-Bahn. It is very nicely decorated, clean, staff is friendly. It is really very nice for a week's stay

The Cocoon is a great hotel, the ambiance, staff, room comfort, amenities and cleanliness were all excellent. The breakfast was also very good with plenty to eat. One of the real bonuses to the hotel is its closeness to the main railway station and other public transport. As a solo traveller I also felt safe and comfortable.

The hotel is very good. The area is nice but untidy. The gauntlet of smokers hanging around the front door is not pleasant.

Very nice hotel, feels very modern and new. Location is amazing, about 15 mins from the city centre on the tram which is right outside the hotel. It has great amenities and restaurants around it too. We were upgraded for free which was a really nice surprise. Parking is relatively expensive at 30 euros a day but you are in Munich and there are free alternatives around it if you have the time and patience to find them. If we ever stay in Munich again we will not look anywhere else but to stay at...

Lovely welcome on check-in. Great to be given a suitable parking space with no issues. Very good breakfast and coffee available at any time.

Great room - spacious, clean with extremely comfortable beds. I particularly liked that the toilet had its own room! Staff were very friendly and they assisted my party on numerous occasions. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Great choice of food and not at all hurried. Nice bar area with excellent staff. However it did not have a very wide range of spirits. I asked for 2 fairly common spirits and they had neither.

Got airport train S8 to Marienplatz. Hotel was about 3 minute walk. Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Very comfortable beds and free mini bar with water, beer, cola and apple juice re filled each day. Wifi was excellent and staff polite and friendly. Breakfast was simple but excellent. Would definitely stay here again

Clean room and a very convenient location

The hotel is amazing as are all the staff that work there. We had zero issues whilst staying at the hotel. The rooms are kept very tidy and cleaned to perfection. The overall tidiness of the hotel is also incredible, absolutely spotless. The rooftop terrace has some amazing views which can be paired with a cold beverage on a hot summers day with the staff on hand to check on you and promptly take empties away. Had a fantastic stay at the motel 1! Rooms were very clean and modern, we got a corner room which was half the size of other rooms but well worth it for the massive windows covering the entire length of the room giving fantastic light and views! The shower is amazing, I literally didn't want to get out of it! The bar is nice but we found ourselves waiting to be served for long periods even when it wasnt busy. Third stay at this hotel, and once again couldn’t fault it. Staff were great and very helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast comes with a nice selection of cereals, yoghurts, breads, and cuts of meat and cheese, which is all very good. This hotel will always be my first choice when staying in Munich. Will hopefully be back soon.

Good value, convenient location

The room and facilities were excellent in a lovely hotel, can't fault the room whatsoever. The only slight negative was the breakfast was €19 and had very little choice and no hot food. Better off saving the €19 and going to one of the many local breakfast spots for something much better and probably also cheaper.
