The only thing about Ticuan that's positive is location. The rooms are in shambles. Dirty carpet, broken fixtures, worn out furniture, etc. The mattresses are still great but they are a very expensive option and you end up with dirty feet. I swear they haven't cleaned those carpets in 10 years.

Hotel Velario
You won't find any other hotel as nice and economy friendly like Hotel Velerio. Its a nice clean hotel with a comfortable bed and hot water in shower. Its all you need to sleep off the partying in Zona Norte. Literally 3 min walk to the alley and famous HK club
