The front desk staff were very nice, and greet you with a friendly hello, or ciao. If you plan to get into a taxi they will call you one and the driver will meet you in the lobby where you will walk to the taxi. There’s really no chance of getting a car up to the front door if the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed people watching from a room with a view of the Trevi fountain! The a/c worked while we were gone which was lovely since the lights do not- to activate the lights you’ll need to put your key card into a unit inside the door. No problem, it’s eco friendly! The “rooftop” restaurant is open and complimentary to hotel guests for breakfast, was a splendid continental style breakfast with drinks and various fresh foods/fruits to snack on. There’s a lovely view, but it is plexi-glassed so don’t expect an outside rooftop type scenario. You can enjoy drinks up there in the evening, I don’t believe they serve food up there. We would certainly stay here again.

Super cute boutique hotel literally at the Trevi fountain! Each room is a different set up. Breakfast was good, hotel staff was nice and knowledgeable. Area does get busy with tourists at the fountain

My stay at Hotel Fontana was truly memorable. While it may not be a luxury hotel, it offers a level of comfort that perfectly complements its surroundings. The highlight is undoubtedly the view of the iconic Fontana di Trevi. Waking up to such a spectacular sight every morning was an absolute treat. The hotel's facilities provide everything needed for a comfortable stay, making it an excellent choice for travelers who value a great location and a welcoming atmosphere over opulence. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Fontana to anyone visiting the area. It's a fantastic spot that enhances your experience of the city, and I would definitely return.

If I could give Hotel Fontana 100 stars I would. I had a view of the Trevi Fountain from my window, the bed was comfortable, my room was very clean, the staff was amazing, especially Maria! She was so kind, the gentlemen at the front desk were kind and funny, they made my stay that much more enjoyable. They arranged transportation to and from the airport, provided excellent service, everyone that works there was amazing. They are also close to lots of restaurants and shopping! I will ABSOLUTELY stay here again next time I visit Rome.

There was a great view from the rooftop bar of the Trevi Fountain, my room was small but worked out, the only negative thing was the shower, it was small could barely move to wash up and the bathroom flooded every time I showered.

The room we chose was facing the Trevi Fountain ❤️ And all that comes with it. If you're a light sleeper this may not be the place for you, or just bring ear plugs. The hotel is extremely well kept for its age, and the staff is beyond welcoming and helpful. There's also a bar at the top floor for additional pics. If you're driving be aware the parking structure is about .5 miles from the hotel. We drug our luggage to the hotel, but the staff called us a cab when we left for 10 Euro. HIGHLY recommend this hotel, and would definitely return.
