"This accommodation was lovely experience to be closer to nature! It was definitely beautiful. I think it would have been cooler if we had more views or landscape to look out into. Otherwise, the bathrooms and room itself were very clean. The shared amenities were lovely and to use and clean as well! Definitely a cool experience. We also drove to Selfoss food hall and had some good food and ice cream that evening. :)"

"Right next to the ocean. Clean and spacious modern room. Located in a tiny quiet town not too far from sellfoss. Owner was very friendly and gave us some interesting history of the area. Hostel was quiet and restful. A laundry facility would have been wonderful! "

The igloo itself was cozy, warm, and beautifully designed with panoramic glass walls that made stargazing and watching the Northern Lights absolutely breathtaking. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The amenities were top-notch, and we appreciated the little touches — from the local snacks provided to the thoughtful guide on when to expect peak aurora activity. This was one of the most unique and awe-inspiring travel experiences we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that combines comfort, nature, and wonder — the Aurora Igloo is the place to be. "Our stay was really peaceful. The location is ~2miles off of the main highway on gravel & we had a view of one of the larger waterfalls in the distance. Beds were comfortable. Pull out sofa was ok. Everything worked. Our sm 1 BR was well appointed. We stayed 2nts w/no issues. fyi: Hot water is not geothermal so there is a limit to the hot water usage. Check in was a breeze and there were ports to plug in an electric vehicle. "
